Graduate Bible Degree Programs
The Division of Graduate Biblical Studies offers four degree programs designed to satisfy a wide range of academic and ministry goals. Degree programs build sequentially so you may earn up to three degrees in succession, with or without gaps between programs, or aim for one degree. You do not have to repeat a course taken for an earlier degree if you return later to earn a higher degree. The stair-step design permits the transfer of up to 6 units of work into each degree program.
Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM)

Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
Master of Theology (Th.M)
Admission Requirements for the Seminary
Admission is granted only to those applicants judged to be fully qualified. Students should contact the Admissions Office for direction on how to proceed as soon as they seriously contemplate studies at SCS. The Vice President of Student Services may admit an applicant who does not meet the criteria if other factors warrant such action. The Vice President’s judgment is final. SCS does not accept applicants who are living illegally in the USA.
The following requirements are the minimum academic and character requirements for admission to the Seminary. Additional requirements may be imposed for admission into a particular program.
- Hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an approved college or university, normally including at least 60 units of liberal arts courses.
- Have earned any previous degree with not less than a 3.0 GPA.
- Have departed the last institution attended in good standing. The Division of Graduate Biblical Studies offers three degree programs designed to satisfy a wide range of academic and ministry goals.
